9) Chord Progressions - One Chord Songs (part III) - Augmented Progressions

[Post #9] In my last post we have seen how we can make a song or a part of it using only one chord, every time repeated with little changes.

This was a way to avoid that feeling incomplete or unfinished that we had with the One Chord Song in my first post on the Harmonic Progressions.

Below are two final examples of these augmented progressions (this time in C major).

In the next post, we will see some harmonic progressions with 2 or more chords.

Example 1:

C / C7+ / C7 / C7+
C

C7+
(instead of the C of the previous chord we play B)

C7
(instead of the B of the previous chord we play Bb)

C7+

Example 2

C / C5+ / C6 / C5+
C / C5+ / C6 / C7
C

C5+
(augmented fifth, instead of G of the previous chord we play G#)

C6
(instead of G# of the previous chord we play A)

C5+

C

C5+

C6

C7
(instead of A of the previous chord we play Bb)

This is the result with sheet music:
